This is a slightly bizarre new promo film to celebrate the new Lamborghini Reventon Roadster, that is super rare with only (around) 20 being made. Now i get what they were trying to do with this, showing how exclusive the car is and hinting that you would be a great man (in the same league as nobel prize winners and people who managed to scale Everest apparently!) The trouble is it just makes it sound all very snobbish and the advert is basically screaming LOOK AT ME IM STUPID RICH!

I know a Lambo is never going to be understated but I think the 1.1 million Euro price tag says enough, Supercars have enough of a problem with image already and this video doesn’t exactly help matters.

Waterless Car Washing?

With climate change causing massive problems for a lot of the world, such as the recent Kenya drought and hosepipe bans becoming a more regular occurrence in the UK  finding a new way to keep your pride and joy clean is an important thing. I have heard about waterless car washing detergents before but always grouped them into the same basket as supermarket brand wax and shampoo and wax mixes. But after a bit of research I found some products such as the Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine, that seem to offer the ability to wash your car using a minimal amount of water thus reducing water consumption and pesky water spots left on the paintwork.

The product works as a water softener and conditioner so less water is needed. Instead of using a soaking wet soapy sponge to wash then having to rinse, this lets you use a  damp sponge which then needs no rinsing and can be dried straight away in the usual way.

It sounds like a brilliant way for the motorist to help counteract against climate change and water shortage yet still maintain a cleaning regime. Of course you could just be like me and never wash the car, now that’s eco friendly! It would obviously work on vans and bikes as well, in fact anything that was metal I would imagine (although its probably best to check first)

Below is a short video showing how the product works (weirdly it has no sound) and the Optimum No rinse product can be found on motorgeek.com

12 Pimping Interiors

This is, err, interesting. I came across a post on Oddee.com that is the twelve craziest pimped car interiors and its definitely worth a look, even if its just to make sure you don’t get it that wrong! Some of them are insane and look like they have sofas in instead of normal car seats, I guess that would be comfortable at least. Here is a few of the worst ones.

And this one isn’t bad at all, its actually amazing! This is what I was saying about them having sofas!

E-Wolf e-1

E wolf e 1 519x345 E Wolf e 1

A German car manufacturer called E-Wolf have just launched a new single seater open wheels roadster called the e-1, now with names like that and the heavy use of E it gives a hint that this is no ordinary track day sports car. It is in fact a 150 hp, 500kg battery powered rocket that will propel you to 62 mph in five seconds and carry on until 143 mph!

Its not all Lotus Seven baiting fun though because for some reason the driver has to be under 70kgs, I presume to keep the weight down they had to sacrifice quite a bit of space. The price tag puts it out of most peoples reach as well at 150k euro’s, for a track only car that is a lot of wonga to be spending! With space for only one (tiny) person you couldn’t exactly do your shopping in it.

But not to worry because E-Wolf also have a e-2 supercar in the making, only renderings are available at the moment, but if it looks anything like the pictures it will be stunning, as long as they do something about that fugly rear end, and with more space and 4 electric motors, one at each wheel, giving it 544hp it should go even better and allow you to pick up your mum from a shopping expedition

It’s worth having a quick look at this video about the e-1 as well.
