The latest incarnation
On my random journeys through Youtube I found a rather awesome little video of the start of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix shot in a POV style from the crowd. I’ve seen a lot of crowd taken videos recently and it really makes me want to get myself to a race soon! It is pretty expensive for me though so I don’t know whether to wait for the new Silverstone track to be finished or turn it into a holiday and start looking for flights to Abu Dhabi for next years final race because the Abu Dhabi track looks amazing!
Anyway watch the awesome video, it really gives you a sense of how amazing and loud the cars really are!
The Japanese can make some ridiculously good cars, even when they are making American cars! The Yokohama Mooneyes show always means lots and lots of ace pictures of what is happening in that far away land. Here is a little selection of pictures you really need to see!

Bad news for Donington but excellent news for Silverstone, after Donington failed to raise the funds to redevlop its circuit and therefore lost its rights to hold the British GP, Silverstone has stepped in and made a deal to host the race but after it will need significant redevelopment to the circuit.
Amazingly Bernie Ecclestone has apparently lost out on £60 million in fees to make the deal happen, many people reported sights of pigs flying after hearing the news that Ecclestone actually did something good!
The Circuit now has a 17 year deal to host the British GP and for many this is excellent news because most people think that Silverstone truly is the home of British motorsport. So now with a redeveloped Silverstone to look forward to, the brand new Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, that will hopefully host an even better race next year now that people know the track better and a Hamilton, Button team partnership, things really are looking better and better for F1!
