The Keep Drifting Fun mini documentary has just been put online and it takes a great look at why people love drifting so much and how it is such a different form of motorsport. It also features some kick ass drift footage… The last 5 minutes in particular is pretty amazing. Video after the jump.

I’m putting this up mainly as a reference for myself but if other people find it useful then hopefully I can help. I’m no wiring expert (by any means!) this is just what I have gleaned from forums and sites, so I take no responsibility if any of it is wrong.

So you’re in a silly fast funny car on the dragstrip when the steering wheels comes off in your hand… Cue much frantic arm waving and some serious trouser stains! I first saw this a while back but just came across it again, I can only imagine what’s going through his head! Amazing video.

So the old 1600 has been smoking away for years now and I finally decided it was time to stump up some cash and find a working 2 litre to drop in.

It seems that these days, everything is expensive. The phrases ‘economic downturn’ and ‘recession’ have become buzzwords that we hear at least once a day. As a result, we are becoming more and more attuned to how much everything costs, with owning and running a car being somewhere towards the top of the ‘most expensive’ list. But is it possible to drive these days without paying over the odds?

Do you have good manners on the road? This chap certainly does! Bonus Capri footage!

Fiesty Fiats

The Fiat 500 is a proper classic motor. The diminutive run-around caused a sensation when it was launched in 1957, and the relaunch in 2007 was also a hit. Something about the Fiat seems to rub people up the wrong way though – it seems that the model is the most vandalised car! Pick on something your own size, you bullies!

The original 500 was called such because of its tiny 500cc engine. Perhaps you would consider tampering with this by adding a powerful Subaru engine to be vandalism?

A friend came over the other day to do a photoshoot of the Capri for a project, he has the magic touch behind a camera so I can’t wait to see how the main pictures turn out but until then I have a few photos of behind the scenes of the shoot. Check out Chriz Quick’s Photography site to see some of the other awesome work he has done. He also went down to a friends to take pics of his Escort Van and Scimitar, love both those cars!

I apologise in advance for my face.
