It would seem as though Audi have a rather cryptic message on there site saying with the simple title Electricity untamed, see more on September 15th. September 15th is the date of the Frankfurt Motor show, which is where manufacturers always unveil exciting new prospects. So just what car will Audi be unveiling complete with a new electric motor? The website has a picture of an R8 on the page about it, coincidence or are they going to bring out a electric supercar to compete with the Tesla…
An electric R8 would be pretty cool but I cant see it being any more than a show piece for them, therefore I would quite like to see an Electric A4 or even a TT, which would probably have more of a chance of actually getting into production.
I can imagine this years Frankfurt Motor Show to be very environmentally conscious this year with electric motors being the hot topic, as more and more company’s start to worry about climate change. Who knows what other battery powered delights might make a début.
What Audi would you like to see have a new torquey electric motor in it?

Not sure if this ever happened but I can’t see their being many battery powered super cars, they can barely make a battery powered normal road car that’s bearable to drive let alone a super car.
