The extremely generous people of Fatlace have recently put up a blog post announcing their plans to give away a 1974 Nissan Skyline 2000GT at their big end of year event, the Fatlace Klassik. Now apart from their lack of spelling skills, Fatlace and the Hellaflush name produce some pretty damn amazing cars and they will unveil the new Skyline on February the 20th at Wekfest in San Francisco.
They will be unveiling the project car that they will turn from a standard GT into above render on 21/2/11. Over the coming year they will build the car and document it on their site and finally at the Fatlace Klassik it will be shown in the metal for the first time and then given to some extremely lucky person, who will instantly become internet famous no doubt.
I’ve talked about some of the cars Fatlace have before with the sticker bombed safari style S14 and the two Skylines (which have also been featured on Speedhunters this week!) so you will know that they build some very nice cars, you will probably notice they seem to like painting them all white as well…
Unless you have a secret stash tucked away in a savings account getting hold of a classic skyline is merely a pipe dream for most people and a quick google shows that they are pretty hard to find with the only advert I found was from a Californian company dated 2009 and it had one for sale at an eye watering $40k!
You can see a little teaser trailer of the car in its current state below and more details of how you can win it will be announced soon!
Quite some prize I think you will agree…
