I guess anyone who visits this page likes cars, and anyone who likes cars must have seen the Ken Block Gymkhana videos. If you haven’t then you are missing out, its basically drifting and rallying footage but filmed in the same style as many of the Skate, BMX and Motocross videos get filmed. The one thing that’s been missing out in motor sport is that ‘coolness’ with most people thinking rallying is for old men in trenchcoats, so the big boys at DC bringing some ‘cool’ to the car game is the best thing for cars since they invented the turbo.
Anyway there have been two Gymkhana videos so far but now there is a third and it involves Ken Blocks, rally prepared Scooby’s, mini me……
The rest of the DC videos can all be found on there youtube, so go take a look if you havent already and if you have, take another look!
It does seem though that Ken Block is becoming a bit of a superstar now though, with his car being featured on the new Dirt 2 PS3 and Xbox 360 game, In the game trailer below you can see most of the car footage shows Ken Block’s Monster liveried Subaru, obviously because they realise people will recognise that car. He was also chosen to be the technical consultant and in-game mentor, Now that Colin Mcrae has sadly passed on it looks as if Ken is the new boy trying to fill his boots.
There is also a little video out, with Ken Block talking about the new game and how his experiences in rallying helped with the technical aspects of Dirt 2
Also just because its such a brilliant video and has Vikki Blows in lingerie in it, have a look at the teaser trailer. It pretty much sums up my life…
