Engines Wheels Metal and Speed
This last weekend Retro Rides held their 5th Beach Party at Brean Sands in Somerset. We rounded up a few of the S.O.S lot as well as Dave from SWDubs and made our (slow) motorway convoy up north – yes Somerset is north to me, everything except cornwall is!
For the most part reading up and seeing pictures from Wek’Fest hasn’t really interested me too much, it’s just not really my scene. The cars are all really well done and look incredible but they are all a bit new for me, however Stanceworks took a picture of one of the older cars to turn up, a Toyota Hilux minitruck and I suddenly remembered why I desperately need a truck in my life.
I’ve had a quick look for any more pictures but, I have had no luck yet, if I find some more I’ll be sure to post them up!
Yes I am a Vans fanboy and yes I already own a pair of the last Moon/Vans collab but I’m still allowed to lust over the new 2011 design that has just been previewed.
It’s been a while since I’ve put up any videos from Formula D, I think I got a bit bored of all the terrible music laid over them every time – tip for anyone making a film, engines sound much better than dubstep. Luckily Tandem Of Die know this and just put up their Irwindale teaser; it is just 2 minutes of glorious noise and smoke. I’m looking forward to the full DVD because all the teasers have been pretty spot on.
Well I guess I’m part of S.O.S for life now.

This months S.O.S meet has been announced for Wednesday 12 October. As usual meet at Comet car park, Willows in Torquay for around 7:45pm then a cruise over to Newton Abbots Halfords for 8:30pm.
