Talking Of Those Eco Friendly V8′s…

Australians are, I reckon, on par with the Americans in their love for the humble big litre V8 engines. Australians have nice hot weather anyway so they don’t need to care about climate change, or at least I presume that is how they think about it.

So when somebody suggested an idea for a motorised skateboard for Tony Hawk to ride during the Telstra 500, the Ozzy mechanics knew that only a V8 would do. I’m fairly sure they will only be able to use about 1% of the engines power but I’m fairly sure the only reason they used it is because then it would combine two awesome things – Skateboarding and the sound of a V8.

I’m not sure Tony Hawk will quite manage to do a 900 on it though…
